My Kikki.K Pause Guld Personal Planner: Review

This year I invested in a Kikki.K planner. I’ve been looking at these for a while and when I spotted the Pause Guld design, I knew this one was the one for me.

The planner arrived in a beautiful blush and gold box, which is perfect to keep to store bits and bobs. It is made from a soft creamy-white leather with gold spots, and inside the back is a pinky-blush colour with gold rings and dividers.

The planner comes with:

  • A small ‘To Do’ notepad at the front
  • A notepad at the front titled ‘Notes’
  • 7 dividers including the following the notepaper
    • monthly view pages which are blank so you can start using when you are ready.
    • meeting note paper
    • to do note paper
    • 3 sections of note paper with subject and date at the top of each page
  • 2 pages of stickers in blush, black and grey colours

Personal vs Large

One of my biggest questions before purchasing was which size to go for – personal or large. I loved the look and feel of the large planners but I knew I wouldn’t be able to carry it around with me which I thought would be more useful so I decided to go for personal. I’m really happy with the personal planner. Its nice to hold and write in, fits perfectly in my handbag and is easy to flip through each section.

The downside (which is my own fault) is as I want to keep it in pristine condition, I haven’t taken it out with me as much I was originally planning…hopefully I’ll get over this fear now or find a way to keep it clean in my bag. I’ve also found that decorating the planner isn’t as easy as the pages are quite slim and most of Kikki.k’s accessories are better suited to the large size. So if you are really into decoration I’d probably recommend going for the bigger size.

Overal verdict

I have really enjoyed using this planner and I’m regularly using it after abandoning previous planners as they haven’t quite worked for me. I LOVE the look and feel of the planner and think it is well worth the money for such a quality product.

I think I might invest in a large planner to stay on my desk and use as a notebook, keeping my personal in my bag for tracking appointments and taking notes on the go…ultimately, its just an excuse to buy more gorgeous stationery!
